CBC Radio’s Books and Backroads will be coming to Cape Breton this summer! Seven libraries across the Maritimes will host a book club on a book with a local focus, or written by a Maritime author. Book Club discussions will be taped and featured on morning shows in the Maritimes throughout the summer. Come see handmade creations made by members of the Weymouth Makers group. They feature a variety of textile techniques. This exhibit celebrates craftsmanship, tradition, and the passing of skills through generations. This exhibit carries more than just fibres. It carries stories, memory, and culture. It connects to both the past and the present. This exhibit is on display during open hours from July 2 to August 29, 2026.
